hey guys,
I just wanted to check in and see if anyone was able to get their OHip under the OWP pilot program. I know we had some concerns about this and that we do not qualify until we get our AIP (which i don't think my husband will get until 2019, the rate cic is working).
Is a letter from your employer enough stating that you do work full time hours?

Thanks :)

Seems you may need to wait for AIP: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pregnancy-during-inland-spouse-sponsorship-process-t325784.0.html;msg4491115#msg4491115

There has been some postings that Ontario service won't accept OWP case 27 at all, regardless if you are working 6 months or with letter of employment or not for OHIP. Ontario Service only accept OWP case 20 (regular OWP) or AIP only. These two documents are the only confirmed proof that the applicant is staying for PR purposes. One can in theory work under OWP case 27 and still be denied AIP. This is to prevent applicants from accessing OHIP before AIP or regular OWP.
