Hi. I have an urgent question which I do hope you could help me out. My boyfriend is a canadian citizen. and we've met online in december 2018... we never met in person.. but we are talking to each other almost everyday 3 to 5 hrs.. you know that sense of connection to you will felt towards someone. but anyway he decided to meet me and He will be coming this mid of october 2019 to marry me. Yes marry me... I can't believe it but if you ever ask me, i'm certain and i want to marry him too.. However 30 days stay is not enough for us to plan the main wedding.. so we are thinking of having a quick civil wedding first.. so my questions are:
1. He only has 30 days to stay in his travel here because he did not apply for any visa. Can he extend his stay?
2. Is it also possible that we get married in the philippines within the 30 days and then we will leave the country (spend the honeymoon in Thailand for a week) and come back as married couple.. will he get 1 year free stay in the philippines then? if yes, how and what do we need to secure his 1 yeR stay?
we dont intend to migrate in canada at least for the first 5 years because I cannot leave my job yet.. He wants to live here with me and start a business here after our marriage. but i dont wNt him to go back to canada when his stay is about to expire and then come back in the philippines again and so on and so forth.. what is the best way for him to obtain at least 1 year stay because we need more time to prepare for the main wedding and apply for his residency here in the philippines which i heard it will take like 4 to 5 months.
