Getting Married with a Canadian while in a LMO

Hello!!

I've been reading the topics but I can not find what Im looking for. Im working in Canada for 1 year and 6 months now, and from June 2013 Im under an LMO and it is good until june 2015. Me and my Canadian (born in Canada) fiance are gonna get married next May, and I know that after getting married and because im under a LMO I can apply for an "open work permit" but I do not know what are the steps to follow and how long will it take to get this work permit. I hope someone could help me with my doubts.

Getting married to a Canadian will not allow you to apply for an open work permit.

Once you are married, if your fiance sponsors your for permanent residency using the inland/within Canada method, you will qualify for an open work permit once the application has first stage approval. First stage approval is currently taking 11 months to complete.
