Both myself and my fiance` have ongoing INDIVIDUAL PR applications in the FSW category ( Country of Residence: India) that we had submitted back July 2020. Given the COVID situation, we're not expecting to hear back anytime soon.
1) The safer option is obviously to wait until we have our individual PR's, complete the landing process, and then come back and get married but could take anywhere from 3 months to 1 year.
OR
2)Can we get married and still continue with the processing timeline of our current individual applications which is now 6 months in already? Does anyone know if there is a provision where we could land on individual PR's since they were filed before marriage?
Any help or guidance would be highly appreciated!
