Hello everyone,

I would be getting married in Feb 2019 and also would be completing my 1 year of work experience in month of October this year.
I have a couple of situations to discusses , would be grateful if some can through some light on which would be the best way.

1. should i wait to file for my PR, and do it as a couple, because i have heard that to sponsor your spouse would easily take a year or more(P.S our expected points calculated as per CRS together would be 447) .
2. what if i apply for my PR and i get it before i get married or even after that, can i bring my wife to canada on a tourist visa or a dependent visa if i have a PR status or my file is in process.

Which is more feasible to work with.
If any one had gone through the same procedure please let me know what was your decision,

Thank you and all the very best to you all

2 questions...
are you inland? within Canada?
where are you going to married? within Canada?

a friend's case
he applied for PR in sep 2016 (PEQ), 2 years as student in Quebec
medical exam in jan 2017 for him
he got married in feb 2017 within Canada, he stopped his application in feb 2017
he updated his application in may 2017
in may asked for personal questionnaire (both principal and dependent)
in jun 2017 asked for medical exams and police records for dependent
ppr aug 2017 (both)
landing sep 2017 (both)

now quebec applications is longer

that case is not considered sponsorship
