Getting Married in Toronto on TRV

Hello Everyone:


And so I am flying to Toronto next month to marry my fiance. We are in a relationship for 4.5 years and have decided to tie the knot. My sister and her husband living in Toronto will serve as our witnesses. Our relationship is genuine, I will stay in Canada for 2 months only and will fly back here to resume my work. After the marriage, I will be applying for Spousal Open Work Permit because he is a skilled Temporary foreign worker with permit valid until dec 2014. Do you think our plans is okay? I badly need your input. Thanks a lot!

Can he sponsor you as a spouce since you will have legal marriage documents and proof of relationship?

Also a question ....when you applied for the TRV did he send an invitation letter and said you are his girlfriend?
Just wondering because I'm trying to get my boyfriend here to visit and I'm worried he won't get approved because he's coming to see me.

The intention of the visit is really to stay with my sister's family. She provided me with the letter of invitation and everything for my visa application. I just want to grab also this opportunity to get marry to my fiance who cant come here in my home country due to conflict in our schedules.

I want to know from our senior out they have similar situation like mine.
