Getting Married in Mexico

Hi,
I was born and raised in canada, i am tring to get married with my girlfriend hwo is currently living in mexico .
what i am planning to do it go there, marrie her, and hopefully bring her back with me. what i want to know is if this is even possible..because i have heard many cases in the past where people have gotten amrried over seas ( random marrige, guy meets girl, girl marries guy, guy brings girl back to canada) i would like to know if what im planning to do will work.
so please ..some help would be much appreciated

1. Assuming you realize that you have to sponsor her for permanent residence after the marriage.
2. The chance of getting a visitor visa for her to accompanying you to Canada are close to nil, as her intention is to remain permanently in Canada, not just visit.
3. So you better prepare yourself for the sponsorship process and the waiting that it entails.
