Hi, I did my Permanent Residence Landing already and I know that it will take almost two months before the PR card arrives. And Im planning to have civil wedding before my PR card arrives, do you think the Immmigration will revoke my residency for doing this? Your opinion or experienced is much appreciated. Thank you.

As long as you have already landed, you are ok to get married even before you get the PR card.

Coz Im trying to search the CIC website if theres rule regarding civil status before PR card arrives. Like maintaining the single status not until PR card arrives. Me & my gf is worried about it. Coz i read that if you get married before validation of permanent residence " landing", they will revoke your PR status and will start all over again. And we dont want that to happen coz we've waited for this PR for so long. Any experience or friends that had marriage right after getting the PR status not card?!

There is a problem if you have gained your PR visa as a single person and marry before you land but marrying after you land is ok. It has nothing to do with the mailing of the PR card.

Thank you so much guys! I really appreciate your replies.
