Getting married after the sending my application

I am planing to send my applicaton next year coz I am still waiting the new rules to come and by the end of the year I will complete 4 yrs work exprience to get maxium points for the work exprience.
the question I would like to ask the forum is. What will happen if I get marry after sending my application to CIC? do I need to send updates to CIC to tell them my marriege or shall I leave my wife and apply from Canada if i get the visa and RP or may be it is better to get marry and apply together with your wife.

Guys plz advice.

if you apply and then get married you'll have to send updates on your marital status to cic ... if you get married b4 applying then you have to give your spous's details also .... if you and your wife apply and then have baby... then again you have to inform cic... all the detailed information is on http://www.cic.gc.ca/

If your wife is highly educated, then you get points for that also .. so, if you are getting married very soon, then its worth the wait! But I will not wait for something like 8 months for this. It rather happen pretty early.

You can send updated info right on their request for submission of all the papers.
