Hello
I have PR status in canada and have already officially landed in March, but I have been back in the UK for a few weeks. In the meantime my PR card has arrived in Canada. Since I am going back to Canada in a few days there is not time to post the card to me in the UK, and so will I be alright entering just on my passport and with my copy of the (already processed) confirmation of PR etc?
I would presume it is ok, but has anyone done this already and it was ok?
Kind regards
TTG.

Yes, you can return without the PR card. You are visa exempt, so you needn't apply for a travel document, you are not eligible for one. I know of one forum member who has done it successfully, also from a visa exempt country.

It might be an idea to have someone scan the PR card and email it to you, so you have a printout of it, just as a backup plan.

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting into Canada being from the UK.

The only problem I can foresee would be at check in in the UK, they like people to have return flights unless they have proof of you being allowed to reside in Canada. This is where having a copy of your PR card might come in handy. (I am speaking from experience... I came as a visitor a few years ago with a one way flight, and they wouldnt let me check in, I had to buy a return ticket at the airport!)

Good luck!
