Is there any way the FBI would still have my fingerprints on file and I wouldn't have to pay to get them done again? Then I could just pay the $18USD to the FBI???

no, i believe the prints are destroyed once they are used. it specifically states you need to send a set for each application. generally, fingerprints are free/cheap at your local police station, or you can also try the board of education in your town. the city near my town in ct has someone come in weekly to do fingerprinting for people applying to work at schools. since he isn't associated with them, he didn't care the reason i was getting the prints done. both options are much cheaper than getting it done by an agency.

Yeah, for the first one I got mine done at the local police station. It's super convenient because it's right across the street. It was $67. Which isn't cheap to me, but I guess it could be worse... hahah
Thanks anyways!

that's a lot for fingerprints. my local police station it's $5, and the board of ed was $10. definitely look for other options.

Yeah, it's just we don't have a car so getting anything done is really difficult. And I want to send this ASAP before they have to ask for it. Also, the FBI's website says they are slowed down atm :/
