Getting an LMIA from my current employer

Hey,
I currently have a PGWP and have been working for my employer for over a year. I would like to get a postive LMIA so CIC can give me points for "a valid job offer"
Does anyone know what is the proccess my employer would have to follow in order to have the LMIA?

I was reading that it shouldbe done before hire a foreign work.
