Hi Everyone,

Im new to this forum.

Im a 28 year old Irish citizen, and am going to apply for a visa in January. Im just wondering if anyone has any information for me. Im an electrician and would like to come over for a year, but if i get a year visa how hard is it to get a second year if things work out?

Also is there a certain amount of money you have to have to get into the country.

Im aware there seems to be alot of work over there at the minute, but is there any areas which would be better than others for work and quality of life.

Any information anyone could give me atall would be great!!

Thanks

Are you going to be applying for a work permit?

If so, you'll need a job offer from an employer in Canada and an approved LMO (labour market opinion).

Well I was going to apply for a one year working holiday visa, would I still need an employer too??
I haven't got any work lined up as of yet

If you're coming on a working holiday visa - then no, you don't need an employer.
