Hello!
I have applied for a PR 7 months ago and have been waiting for it since then.

My spouse's work permit expires in 1.5 months, mine expires in 7.

Back in October 2019 I have filed a BOWP request for my spouse on paper ( couldn't find how to do that online ).

No news from IRCC since then. It seems like.ot would take a while to get BOWP for my spouse, and she is going to lose her health coverage (MSP). We don't want to lose the coverage due to personal circumstances.

I was thinking about flagpoling and requesting a new work permit for her based on the fact that we are married couple and my work permit expires in 7 months.

Do you think that would work?

You can try. No guarantee that CBSA will process it.
