I was unemployed at the time of my application submission.
Last year I decided to go back to school for a year to further my education. I live in the Toronto area but went to Ottawa for school. I was working a part time job while at school, however I quit when I graduated in April because I moved back to my hometown near Toronto.
I visited my husband when I finished school, and we completed our application shortly after I left. For that reason, when I applied for my husbands outland visa,I did not have a job. I was in the process of applying for jobs when our app was sent, and explained to CIC that I had just graduated and was looking for employment. I included bank statements, grad certificates, and more.
Today I accepted a job offer, and I feel as though it may help me get sponsor approval. Our application was just received a couple weeks ago, therefore I cannot change or update CIC at the moment.
My question is, when we get AOR am I able to message CIC through linking our application online? Or is this job even worth updating them about?
