Hi Friends,

I am planing to apply for FSW from Singapore, can I get copies of my certificates attested from Indian Embassy in Singapore.

Why not if you can find a notory public or a solicitor who works at the embassy and who can do it in his/her free time for you. There may be a charge though.
 
Friends I have read some where that documents must be attested from the country where they were issued, i don't think it is true because attestation of documents just need to verify with the original and certify as true copy. (notary or any other authorized person in any country who can read/understand that document can attest (for me documents in english language))

yes you are correct. documents can be attested in the current country of residence. this doesn't make sense to fly back to your native country or send your documents to your native country to have them attested.
