Get a refund from CITIZEN&IMM-EAPPS ENLIGNE

Hi All,

I have applied for Permanent Residency through EE CEC and IRCC has received and started processing my application since Sep 08, 2020. ( AOR)


Today I received a refund in the amount of $85 from - CITIZEN&IMM-EAPPS EN LIGNE
Now I’m not sure what this refund was for so I’m hoping you guys could help me out. I just want to make sure that my PR application did not get refused.
The only fee that involves $85 throughout my application is the Biometrics Fee which I’m not quite sure why they would refund it to me.

Biometrics are not required for inland applicants due to covid-19. That's why you got a refund.

How did you get to know about the refund? Did you see it in your credit card statement? Or did you get an email from IRCC?

It shows on my credit card, and $85 is only for the biometrics fee....

Hmm. This is indeed weird. If it were to happen to me, I would either submit a webform or contact IRCC at 1-888-242-2100 to speak with someone and understand why they refunded the biometrics fee.

I too received a refund of 85 from the same. my AOR is June 20. But I am Bio exempt.
