Quick question

I am sponsoring my husband to come to Canada. So on the form I have all the information required....lower down on the form where it says DEPENDANTS....would I put my information there?? We have no children, it is just the 2 of us

Thanks!

If you are talking about the "add dependents" button at the very end of the form then no you do not put your information there.

To Kangamoose

He is not adding any dependants as we do not have any children but what I was asking where is says "DEPENDANTS" that I put my information, because I am a dependant no?

The applicant fills out that form...and he would NOT list you, the sponsor, as his dependent.

Some are saying yes(I even asked my friend who was a successful applicant and she said yes)....some are saying no!

I am so confused!

Do not put your details in that section.

Perhaps this will clarify:

Remember that all questions in this section are about your dependant. You must include your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens.

Since your husband's spouse is his sponsor (YOU), you do NOT list yourself as his dependant because in this case it is not applicable.

So even if he supports me while I am living in Mexico with him? I still no not put myself as a dependant??
