Hello!
I am american filling out genreric form 0008. Trying to apply for PR to be able to be with my Canadian husband in Canada more often.

Is a birth certificate, a state ID, drivers lisence, a canadian health card, or canadian citizenship certificate considered a national identity document?

Do I need to get passports for my kids to apply for PR? We cross the border with birth certificates as their travel documents because they are all under the age of 15. Two american daughters and one canadian/american daughter.

Do I include my canadian/american daughter in the dependents section of the generic form? I am confused what to say when asked if she is accompanying me. She is born american and has canadian citizenship certificate. She lives in both places, Canada more often. So, do I put that she is accompanying me or not accompanying me?

Thanks so much for your help!

She is a Canadian citizen so you do not need to apply for her Canadian PR, therefore she is not your dependant for this purpose.

A birth certifcate and canadian citizen certificate are national identity docs, not sure about drivers license or healthcard. Don't you have a passport? That is a national identity doc.
