GCMS vs Web form

Hope you all are keeping well.

So I am an FSW applicant with Dec 2019 AOR and haven't requested any information on my application as I know all outland applicants are facing delays.

But since it'll almost be a year to my AOR soon I was thinking of getting some clarity on my application. What is the best way to do that?

By raising a web form or applying for GCMS notes or calling IRCC? And how do you apply for GCMS notes if you're an outland applicant?

I can see the option of raising a web form on my account but nothing about GCMS.
