Hi,

I'm a principal applicant and husband (Canadian citizen) sponsors my application. Recently i found out about GCMS notes and decided to file for one. i think it would be a good idea to keep my anxiety at bay. How do I request a GCMS report?. Can I or have my husband do it online?. How much does it cost?. i'd highly appreciate if somebody provided me with the link?. I knew i read somewhere the cost is reasonable, but one immigration lawyer says it is charged $300?.

Many thanks

M

Thank you!. Not sure why the consultant said it was $300 when it costs only $5 on CIC even the private companies seems reasonable. Hopefully this will shine some light on why there's a delay.

PS: Love the quote!. :)

I think the private companies charge that much because they try to translate the gibberish that is the notes lol.
There's a thread here created by Eagle named GCSN notes explained like never before, check it out. In that thread another member, chickoltee (I think) posted a link to a Google spread sheet that has all the short forms and their meanings. Honestly it's pretty black and white. Order the notes for $5 with your spouses consent, and after 30 days try to read it and understand it yourself. If you're still confused post a comment in that thread and there will be people that will try to help :)

Haha thank you, it's much needed for this process! Good luck
