Hello Fellow Aspirants,

Would any of you have any idea about own long does an officer take to generate GCMS notes after a request has been raised?
I know that they deliver in 30-35 days... But they are not necessarily generated on the same day.

@legalfalcon maybe you can shed some light on this..

Thanks,

It is generated on the day they receive your request and sent to you after 30 to 35 days.

The GCMS notes are usually generated 1-2 weeks after the request is filed with IRCC. So if you file a Request on July 1, you can expect the notes to be generated between July 7 - July 20.

However, this is just an average, some notes are generated way before and some are generated later too. Also, in some cases the GCMS notes are delivered within 7-15 days, in such cases the notes are generated 1-2 days post filing the request.

Can ordering GCMS notes negatively affect your application in any way? As in, some agent looks through your case again and makes additional negative notes? Or is the process of collating GCMS notes done by a different set of agents? Or can it possibly delay your application?

We ordered GCMS through M's getgcms service, and within the next 2 working days we got a PPR. Now we are on tenterhooks as our passports have been sent for processing, but are wondering if we should withdraw the GCMS request in case it's delaying passport processing or having any adverse effect.
