GCMS notes - RCMP check

Wondering if anyone had to do rcmp checks.

In our GCMS notes there is a sub activity regarding it:

it was requested; type - RCMP screening; status - no reportable trace; validity date - some date in 2016

I am guessing cic did it on their own? They have never sent us a request and we never provided police check from RCMP with our application.
Just making sure that we don't need to do it...

I just received my copy of our GCMS notes today and I did a search for "RCMP" and it doesn't show up anywhere for us. Of course, you are further along in the process than we are so maybe it is yet to come on our side.

I don't think you can search that pdf document though, does not work for me at least. It's all a picture really

CTRL + F will allow you to search for a keyword in a PDF.

You're right. I did a search for words and phrases which I know are in the document such as our application number and "Not Started" and nothing was returned. Not even CPC-Ottawa resulted in a hit.
Having had a chance to read it in more detail, I still didn't see RCMP mentioned anywhere, but since the security and criminality checks aren't started yet, maybe that's why.
