GCMS notes - quick question

Hi there,

I'm sending some advice to someone about applying for case file notes and I have a quick question. The couple would like to order the case file notes on their file. Under file type do they select 'sponsorship file' or 'immigration file: permanent residence". They've made it past the first stage of sponsorship. I've dome it myself using 'sponsorship file' but it's a little bit confusing because part 1 is sponsorship and part 2 is for PR.

BTW, their file is close to a year in waiting.

Its immigration file: PR, sponsorship file is just for the sponsor I believe.

It's definitely the immigration file PR. I made the mistake when they changed the website awhile ago and ordered the wrong one. Complete waste of 30 days!!

Ok then I defintely screwed that up lol but I'm glad I asked because I was able to tell the guy the right way to do it lol. I noticed though that even on the sponsorship file there were updates on recent correspondence (emails) that I sent Pretoria but all else was the same as before (no criminality, no security, no edibility assessment, medical passed). Do you think that if it were in-process (i.e., they were working on security, eligibility etc) that it would have shown in the sponsorship file type as well? Or do I need to re-order his notes (i.e., ya I know complete waste of 30 days!). When you reordered them did you see different information that wasn't in the sponsorship file from the initial sponsorship approval (other than information that may have arose because it's 30 days later.

That info will not be on the Sponsorship file and there won't be as many pages as well. Yes there was different information when I reordered them as I ordered the correct ones the next time....it sucks that now you have to reorder and wait another 30 days!
