how common is it for officers not to update our gckey accounts ? I got my aor2 on may 24 and passed meds on June 16 and have heard nothing yet

Too common. Let' just say they only update it when they feel like it. Usually what happens with Ottawa VO is that your GCKey won't update anymore until your COPR is shipped out. What does it say on your ECAS?

This seems to be the same for me (Sydney VO). We have received our PPR and are now just waiting on COPR, but it still shows on GCKey that they are checking our eligibility to apply.

It is a pleasant surprise to see the message about your PPR when all you are hoping to find is some glimmer of hope that the application is moving through the process :)

It says "we are processing your application" I am wondering because people who applied after me are eating "background check in process" but mine is staying the same. Just wondering if it's possible mine has just not been updated

You need not to worry anyway as your entire application process is done within a matter of months (being an American and applying Outland) as long as you're not missing documents or not seeing when they've requested any you're okay.

Not so much worried, just curious as to what is going on with my app!

Nothing changed on ours until the CoPR was issued and then everything was updated to completed and approved. That seems to be the case with many of the folks here. When it happens, you know to start watching your mailbox. Congrats! :)

Did your background check status ever change to in process?

Yes, not long after the file transfer, and then everything just sat there until it was over.

It happens. There are those that their status never changed until they landed and got PR so like I said, as long as you're not missing any requested documents you shouldn't worry

I've noticed quite a few posters wondering if their background checks have started because it isn't being updated in their GCKey.
