Hi!

Me and my boyfriend (but considers each other as Husbands already) have been in a relationship here in the Philippines for 7years and 7 months, and have been loving together for 2 years and 5 months now. He is a Registered Nurse, but according to him, they are certified Caregivers as well because of their curriculum in school.

Our relationship is not as public as it is, only very few realtives, a couple of closest friends and colleagues know about this. We aren’t quite sure our parents do know about this, but the primary reason we haven’t come out in the public because of how we would be accepted, stereotyped and judged by the people.

Leading us to a discussion of wanting to immigrate to Canada. So that we could live freely, and without fear of wrong judgment.

We’re both working professionally here in our country. And I have read fron LEGIT that there are many options how we could apply. My we whole heartedly ask for your help and advice on this concern.

Thank you everyone!

Hello guys. I’m trying to understand what type of visa you guys want to apply to come to Canada. Same-sex relationship is totally legal in Canada. To qualify for family sponsorship, one of you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident ( I suggest to read the requirements to be a sponsor through spousal sponsorship).

You should also probably charge categories on this forum because this is for one spouse sponsoring other spouse or family members. You will both be applying to immigrate together.
