gap in education after 12'th before attending college

Hi, I am sure someone else faced this situation. I took couple of years preparing for my entrance exam after my 12'th before getting into university.
What should I write in Education section and personal history section for this ?

I hope seniors respond to you, but I think you can include an additional piece of paper (addendum) explaining how you spent your time. I think the CIC would be reasonable as long as you have the necessary points.

Education section: Gap is ok in Education section, but you have to mention that gap in personal history.

Personal History: For that couple of years, if you were just preparing for exam and didn't work then just write unemployed.
