Gap between diploma and Advanced diploma in Mech. Designing & Drafting Possible?

Hello Friends. I wanted to know that if I complete my diploma in Mechanical Desiging and Drafting(2 years) from Sheridian can I complete my remaining one year of advanced diploma in Mechanical Desiging and Drafting after a gap of 1 year or so?

Please let me know if anybody has any idea about it. Specially Sheidian Students!!!
