Hi,

I qualify for FWS, have Canadian Masters degree in a STEM field, and living in Canada for more than 4 years now. I don't see any invitation made to FSW candidates since March this year thanks to covid-19. They invited only CEC and PN candidates. My CRS point is around 440 and haven't submitted my profile yet. Under these circumstances, I was wondering if there is any chance that IRCC might invite me under CEC since I am already in Canada? My point is, they are not inviting people from overseas at this point even though they haven't explicitly said so. Looks like, people living inside Canada are given the priority which is completely understandable. Will I be still considered an outsider even if I live in Canada? And is FSW the only option? I know, I don't qualify for PN.

I expect some sort of expert opinion. Thanks for your time.

CEC isn't based on 'living in Canada'. If you have qualifying Canadian work experience your profile will automatically select CEC for you as it more advantageous to you. If you don't have Canadian work experience then FSW is the only option.
