funds in checking - for responding to AOR

Hi,
Received my AOR and I need to send full docs.
Have a q reg funds that I need to show.


I am currently in Canada and have funds in my bank TD, in checking account and I am going to get a bank statement from them.

Does it have to be there till the end of the process (10 months) or can I get the statement for application, move my money around, say stocks, repay other loans or other short term investments. Do I need to lock up 10k+ in the same account or can I use it for other purposes meanwhile.

You can move around your money but the immi may ask you again for statement when they request for the passport. You can invest that money that will be countable but paying off your loans may not help you unless you can save that much money again in 10 months to show that to immi again if they request.
