Funds in a Savings and Loans Association

I have an account in a savings and loans association and the bulk of the funds that we are planning to use as proof will be coming from this account. I am well aware that this is not a bank, but it kinda works like one. I don't want to transfer the funds to a bank simply because I earn much more through interest by keeping it where it is.

Is it okay to use this account as proof? Anyone out there who was or is in the same predicament?

Off course Yes.. People also maintain an account with Post Office and this works too
