Suppose I have funds from last three months in my bank account at ITA in FD. will it be accepted? Is there any kind of requirement of holding funds upto 6 months?? or i mean to say is it necessary that funds are six months old?

No, there is no such requirement.

Hi,

No there isn't. However, if there is a significant difference between your current and average balance you will need to explain the source of your funds.
