Hello all,

I am going to land in Canada very soon. The requirement of funds for the principal applicant is $11,115.
I have got draft of $CAD 9700.52
Cash of $CAD 1560 and
£1000 (Great Britain Sterling).
The total amount becomes $CAD 12,300 roughly.

All those amounts including the withdrawal and exchange evidence will be shown to the Immigration Officer at the Airport terminal.
Can anyone advice does immigration officer accept Great Britain Pounds as part of the proof of funds? I am bit reluctant to exchange £1000 as I want to accomplish that task in Canada.

Please note someone's fruitful advice will be greatly appreciated.Qorax, Leon, Pmm or anyone please reply.

Thanks in advance.

:D Hi,
You have enough money to show POF at landing if asked by officer.
You can bring funds in sterling pounds, Euro, USD or any recognized currency which can be exchanged in Canada.
Even if you keep the GBP pounds with you and carry back later to UK while your next trip, there is no problem for that. Good luck.
