Hi all,
I am from India and will be applying for the study visa soon.. The funds have been a real head ache or me.. I know that if I have adequate funds I can take a loan against FD.. But the banks have been learning from past mistakes and they are now insisting on keeping the FD for atleast 1 Year.. So I was thinking,What if I apply in General, without taking a loan..Now my queries here are:
,
How much fund will be needed for a 1 year course? Is it 1 year tuition fees + 1 Year Living expenses + Travel expenses or shud we show extra?
Can I deduce the fees for the first term paid in advance from the total funds required? Also I have a IELTS scholarship from the college for 2000$ will that also add to suffice the funds required?
How long should the funds have been in the bank..?? is it mandatory to be 4-6 months old or can I transfer it now and show the proof source? and finally,
Will I still get enough time for processing in General for sept intake if I apply by end of june..??
I completely understand that I shudnt even think of NOT taking a loan as it is a vital document which helps in a smoother visa processing. But I am asking this as an alternative. Its known to everyone that this category contains heavy documentation which leads to increase in processing times. But apart from that does it have any other drawbacks? Hope u all understand and requesting ur suggestions..!!
