Hi Everyone,

I did a 8 month contract job in Alberta but my job offer said FTE: 0. I worked 40 hours every week and was paid for 40 hours per week. Is this job still considered as full time and can be counted towards my express entry profile. I am very confused. I appreciate any kind of help.

I mean, the experience towards express entry profile, which I think is basically work experience points if I am not wrong.

Yes, I am currently working full time with another company as software developer. I have completed more than one year if I consider FTE 0 job, but not if I just consider my current job.

Is your current job also in Canada? Are both jobs NOC A, B or 0 skill level? Have you worked for at least four months in the second job at is that job at least 30 hours per week?

First Job: Software Developer (FTE 0), Alberta NOC A, worked for 8 months
Second Job: Software Developer (FTE 1), Alberta NOC A, currently working since last 10 months
