hi Guys,

reference letters is a key part of FSW skilled worker category, could you please share your experience on this.

has anyone succeeded in getting PER with only reference letter from colleagues i.e. without employer giving a list of duties on letter head.

Please share your experience, this should help other folks on this forum as this seemed to be a shared pain point.

thanks,

Hi,

I am also facing this issue since my employer wont be giving any such kind of details on letter head. Could someone please help and advise me what should I do, if my employer has refused to give me any reference letter stating my job responsibilities (as a DBA), salary and no. of hours worked ?

I can arrange a official mail from my superiors stating the above requirements and an affidavit from my side. Also I have all the documents such as offer letter, pay slips, increment letter, form 16 and PF statement (this shows position which my company has offered me - Systems Engineer, not DBA). Will all these documents be sufficient to pass the verification.

Lastly, the only way I can think of is to fake the letter head. I can get it signed by one of my senior colleague. But, I am bit concerned on how CIC verifies this kind of thing. If they contact the signing authority, I am fine with it. But if they go directly to company headquarters or someone else, it can be a problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

guys,

please share input who have succeeded with plain reference letters, this will help the other members on this forum.

please advise.

thanks,

This is not an advisable approach in my opinion as you may turn a difficult case into a disaster. Even if there are folks who manage to succeed in doing so, they won't be able to share that with you openly here as it is a mere luck that may not come to everyone. The rest could result in an inadmissibility due to misrepresentation. I have shared some thoughts in the thread here with the hope it could trigger some resourcefulness when we encounter similar issues. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/have-anybody-applied-with-incomplete-reference-letter-t295818.0.html
