Hypertension is not a disqualifying factor for Canada Immigration. There is no chance for getting medically unfit for this reason. What ever the case may be your DMP has to decide what is your health condition. Tell him what medication you take for hypertension.

i'm having the simipar problem. does you get your visa.

As per my knowledge high BP and medication is not a reason to get medically rejected.
But as I mentioned, the DMP has to make the decision on medical examination. Therefore don't worry about your BP. Go ahead.

No problem at all due to hypertension but the DMP will need you to undergo some additional tests and nothing else.

I got the same problem and that's the only reason I worry about....

Will they ask me for additional medical exams?

I get no medicine as that's something new for me (I am 35y and I found that problem when I had my Medical exam).

If you have high blood pressure, then you will need to take a creatinine test to determine if you have any kidney damage.
