is it appropriate to show work experience during studies?

I got a job on 2nd May and was doing it during summer term. Would immigration consider it under allowable hours?as I was a sub contractor under self employment.

I worked total 1334 hours during May - Dec 2016 and distributing hours as per allowable limit under study and work permit. I have Tax document and experience letter to support.

Would that be considerable or raise question about it?

as per following question under express entry, I would only show 18 hours a week as I was allowed to work maximum 20 hours on study permit.

Studying full-time while doing this job? A person must be in class at least 15 hours per week during the academic year to be considered full-time. This includes any period of training in the workplace that is part of the study program. (required)

Canadian companies but my Canadian client is not big corporation. That company is registered and have hardly 3-4 employees

That's not the question. Were you studying in Canada or outside of Canada?

Then your work experience during studies and/or while being self-employed does not count.

can I get contract experience letter from a client? would that be considered from the date I finished the studies?

I did full time hours for canadian employer on a contract basis and paid tax as self employed. would that be acceptable?

I do not know the specifics of your situation. If you were an employee then you can claim that work experience (not from the date you finished your studies but rather from the date you applied for a PGWP).

If you were self-employed then forget about claiming such work experience.

I am confused.

My situation is simple but complicated when it comes to documentation.

I would like to apply under Express Entry.
Finished my MENG in Aug 2016, Joined a canadian employer as sub contractor from May 2016 till Aug 2017 (worked around 2320 during that span). I paid tax for that income under self employment.
I read somewhere on Canadian immigration website that under FSW, self employment experience is counted as work experience.

From Jun 2017 till today, I have full time job.

I am wondering that is it possible to apply for express entry under FSW or I should wait for Aug 2018 to complete one year ?

Achieved IELTS score CLB 6-7

Your suggestion is appreciated.

You won't get any points for your Canadian work experience as self-employed work experience is not counted. If you were working outside of Canada then you wouldn't have any issues claiming self-employed work experience.
