Guys,
Has anybody received any letter/request on your FSW application if you Submitted your application After Feb,2008, Got AOR# and your NOC NOT in 38 occupations list?
 
Submitted to CIC: March 26, 2008 Received AOR#: August 2008. NOC# 2171/2173
 
I think that they send everybody an AOR whether you are on the list or not.
AOR means ACK. of Receipt, meaning your application has been received. That's all.
I guess, It is after that the whole "PALAVER" starts.
 
yes, i do think there are others who have been rejected due to the ministerial list requirement.

Any idea why they haven't given any response on my application? I got my AOR in August. Almost 7months I got my AOR#.
 
i dont think everyone has gotten theirs yet.

They only would have started thinking about processing yours in december and then it might be sent to sydney NS for evaluation and then need to come back to the visa office, etc.

Dont count the time from August but from december.
