Dear All,

I am applying for FSW with my spouse and 1 year old baby (3 persons)
I have arranged employment and positive LMO, do I still need to have proof of funds or because I have valid job offer and I will start earning from day 1 in canada I do not need this.

And if I need a proof of funds, can I present certificates from a bank but with different currencies. Example 10.000 USD, 5000 EUR, 3000 CHF
And also is it a problem If some of the money are on the name of my spouse, and I am the principal applicant.

Please any advice.

If you are applying with a job offer supported by a positive LMO, you do not need to show proof of settlement funds to CIC when you make your application.

It is however advisable to still take some funds with you since even if you can hit the ground running and start work right away, there will still be relocation costs and things to buy whilst you settle in.

Best of luck,
Wayne.
