FSW for Partially sighted + Business Analyst + Masters Degree + 15 experience.

Hi,

I am asking for my friend's behalf. I know the currently FSW is on hold but as per proposed changes I would like to know if he can quality despite he being partially sighted.

His details are as follows:
Nationality : Indian
Age: 40
Education: MCM (Master's in Computer Management)
Work Experience: IT Business Analyst with Management Experience of over 15 years
Fluent in English
Note: Partially sighted due to genetical condition (Not totally blind)

As per the new system he seems to qualify for 67 points. My question is can he be refused on the ground of being partially sighted?

Any reply for senior members is much appreciated.

Guys I would really appreciate your input on this. My friend is trying with agents in India but he seems to think that they all are saying "yes" just to get some money off him and no one is providing an honest response....

Whether your sight is going to be a problem or not depends on whether CIC believes this condition will make you a burden on the Canadian health care system. If CIC feels you will be a burden on the Canadian health care system, they may refused your application.

The guy is self sufficient for last 20 years that I know him so he is not dependent on anyone financially. He does need medication time to time but not expensive I think...

Then he should be fine - as long as the medication and any other medical treatment he requires isn't too expensive.
