Hey there,
I'm a 28 year old Electrical Engg Service Manager in India wanting to apply for the NOC 0211 Engineering Managers Category.
I have been in this role (Manager) for the past 2 years. Prior to this, I worked as a Electrical Engineer (for 7 months) in the same organization. I have a Masters Degree and my spouse has a Bachelors degree in Dental Surgery. We are yet to take IELTS (Aug 17th) and I am expecting at least above 7 bands. In terms of my salary, they pay me cash every month.
I have a few questions:
1. What are the list of documents that could serve as proof of my work experience and how many should I provide?
- Offer Letter? Experience Certificate/Reference Letter? Salary Certificate? and..?
- Could I submit letters from clients, contract letters/agreements and project letters etc?
2. What other academic documents should I submit other than WES evaluation of my Bachelors and Masters Degrees? Do I submit my undergrad degree and high school transcripts too?
3. Would CIC be interested in my salary level as the pay range in India is dramatically different from Canada? Also also the fact that I was paid cash (but I have my Income Tax Returns and pay taxes), would it be of any concern?
4. Is it OK if I submit Salary Certificate, from my firm, as opposed to Pay Stubs? Or it would negatively effect my application?
5. Unfortunately, I don't have my Date of Birth Certificate. What other documents could serve as an alternative to the Date of Birth Certificate?
6. What could be a National ID for citizens of India? Driver's License or Voter's ID or PAN Card or...?
