Hello seniors/friends,

I am regular visitor of this site and the informations posted here is very useful.

I had sent my application through my agent on 6th May, 2009 and I had applied under Finance Manager category. I have not yet received any response from them. Please is there anyone who has received any response from CIC?

FSW AOR is sent within 30-40days + 2-5 days (depending upon the place you live in) after the application is received.

You should receive the AOR by 2nd or 3rd week of June I guess.

Best of Luck

Rocky.. Many thanks for your prompt response.

Hi,

This is what I have recently seen on the CIC website. "New: All applicants in the Federal Skilled Worker Class, must submit their initial application to the Centralized Intake Office in Canada as of April 1, 2009."

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

Does that mean that April 1st 2009 was the deadline for sending applications to CIO under the 38 NOC list rule.....!

Please Advice Seniors

I dont want to alarm anyone. My Wife and I went to a seminar about Canadian Immigration in March 2009 and at that seminar we were told by several people including a Canadian Government Official that the list of 38 would be scrapped in the next few months.
So get your file sent in a.s.a.p

Don't get you knickers in a knot, it is highly unlikely that a system that they spent 2 years negotiating with the provinces to get a list is going to be scrapped.

Just wondering: what would replace that list - a new list or NO list i.e. open to all????

Look at what happened with no list 8-10 year backlogs prior to 28/02/08.
