HI All,
I want to start this thread for all those Indians who are planning to land in Canada in 2014 .Lets plan and prepare for new life there .
I have lot of things to be discussed .It will be great if we share or discuss our opinions for all of us and this is best way to share our experinces/information to help each other.

I want to start with the following :

1)the best way to take funds with you to there.(safe and cheapest ,i mean there will be conversion of currency )
2)how to look for economical accomodation for family of 2-3 or 4 members.PLease share the pit falls in getting into lease agreements
3) Please share what is a big No for Landing?

There are many such things needs to be discussed ,let start with this and plan ourselves for a better life out there.

I have enquired a bit.
opening an account with scoti bank is a good option.
transfer the finds the bank and show the certificate as POF.
but the conversion charges are bit high.
another way is travel cards .
