From INTRA COMPANY TRANSFER to PERMANENT RESIDENT (what about the LMIA?)

Hi all,
I could leave the message blank as the title says it all.
I'm here in Canada working with a ICT that is LMIA EXEMPT; in January it will be 1 yr so I want to go for the PR.
I can see the job offer with the LMIA gives you 600 points but my job simply didn't require it.
So what of it ?

If it is not LMIA, it is simple that u dontget 600 pts. Otherwise, try to get LMIA.

Are totally sure about that ? How can I apply for a LMIA if my job is exent for it ?
In case you are right do I have to ask my employer ?
