Why cannot I & my wife can sponsor two of our friend at the same time? it was okay earlier in 2013, and all of a sudden it stopped and now it says household can only sponsor one of their friend.

Because CIC changed the rules.

They changed the rules, now husband and wife (one of them has to sign the settlement plan) can only sponsor 1 friend/distant relative every 18 months.

They can simultaneously sponsor a close relative as well.

So does it mean that I can Sponsor my Brother/sister and at the same time I can sponsor my Friend??

if you do sponsor the brother/sister before you sponsor your friend

Since when can a friend sponser another friend?
You are talking about just "friends" or common-law partner??
