Hiya.

I just finished my college studies -Computer Science major & Software Engineering minor-, my GPA is 3.0 & I got A+ in my graduation project (Mobile application).
I speak both Arabic & English fluently.

My nationality is Sudanese, yet my family roots -both mom's & dad's- are not Sudanese, yet I was born in Saudi Arabia, studied college in Egypt.

My main reason for leaving the Middle East & Africa is that I have no home. I face discrimination in Sudan since I'm not a native , also the county has no market for Computer Science ; I want to be a productive part of any society, working in Sudan or the Arab world will not grant me that.

Do I stand a chance to immigrate to Canada ? I heard it has a good multicultural society that I won't be a stranger in, along with a good economy accompanied with a decent software development market.

Big thanks for reading.

Hi m1123 - why dont you try reading the CIC website first and see if you are eligible to apply. It has every info you need.

And yes, Canada has decent IT market.

Information about Canada's immigration programs can be found here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

You will most likely need to get at least one year of full time, paid work experience in your field before you can qualify to immigrate to Canada.
