Hi all,

I know this is not the right place for this, but there is no general forum for FORUM HELP. Could someone actually report this post using the report to moderator button, and maybe it can be flagged to them to create a Forum for Forum Specific Help.

I cant seem to create a signature, or set any settings on my account other than some very limited options.
I have looked through the built in help, as well as going to the Simple Machines website for their forum product, and even looked through the admin and user documentation. Can't figure out why my profile does not have half the options shows in the docs. Is it maybe because I'm a new user?

Very frustrating, if anyone has suggestions, even on where to post this message in the right place, I would appreciate it.

Are the instructions below not working? Or are you not seeing the screens cited?

IIRC, some forum options are only available after a certain number of posts (can't remember how many).

Basically:

-> click on "profile" ( top right of main screen)
-> click on "forum profile information" (left-hand side of screen in the "modify profile" section)
-> Add/edit your info.

Yup, looked there already. Under Edit Profile it just says "Amount related settings"

No way, just checked again, and now a load more options appear. Must be the post count as you said.

I wonder when I get to add ratings to useful posts. Anyways, thanks for the reply.

Maybe you can report this post to moderator to ask for a general forum help forum, so these posts have a legitimate place to live.
