Formal Education

I have a possibly silly question... when filling out the application and it states Years of Formal Education... does this mean Kindergarden through university? :

Pretty much, but they are more interested in the end than the beginning. ;D
If counting start with first grade. If it`s the level completed; stop at your most advanced degree.

They don't count kindergarten or nursery school. Normally, for Canadians and Americans, it will be 12 years if you have only graduated from high school; 16 years if you have a (4-year) university degree.
