Hi all,

I’m sponsoring my husband from Iran and while filling out the form 5532E somethings concern me. I think I’m overthinking it but one part asks for dates that we visited each other since we’re not living together.

I stated the dates of my tickets as the dates we visited each other but since it takes me 24 hours to get to destination the dates for entry staps on my passport are one or two days different ( in one case my flight got cancelled so i got there 2 days after my ticket date) on my arrival. Now, will they be confused with the dates being different? Should I explain the discrepancy on a separate sheet of paper? Or do they just normally figure it out?

This is because I’m going to translate the stamps on my Iranian passport.. maybe I shouldn’t?

Thanks in advance

No need to overthink things like this. Officers reviewing your case are aware of timezones and that it takes a while to reach the other side of the world. Feel free to use your ticket dates and not stress about it.
